Exceptionnelle sculpture/lampe Art Déco de Max Le Verrier (1891-1973) représentant un singe sous un parapluie. Il s'intitule La Pluie "The Rain" ou "Le Singe au Parapluie". Modèle créé vers 1925-1927 et récompensé au Salon des Humoristes de Paris en 1927. Lampe de table avec deux ampoules.

• Coulée de bronze à patine vert antique.
• L'abat-jour est original et en verre dépoli.
• Base hexagonale en marbre noir veiné.
• Signée sur la base "Le Verrier".
• Edition ancienne très rare. Quelques usures de la patine (voir photos) conformes à l'âge.
• Câblée pour une utilisation européenne.

It is titled "The Rain" or "Monkey with an Umbrella". Model created around 1925-1927 and rewarded at the Salon des Humoristes (Humorists Exhibition) in Paris in 1927. Table lamp with two bulbs.

• Casting bronze with antic green patina.
• The lamp shade is original and made of frosted glass.
• Hexagonal base in veined black marble.
• Signed on the base "Le Verrier".
• Ancient edition which is very rare. Some wear and tear on the patina (see pictures) consistent with age.
• Wired for European use.
