Paire de lampes modernistes en forme de boule en cristal reposant sur des socles circulaires en bronze argenté et estampillé « bronze ». Rare paire de luminaires par Jacques ADNET pour la maison BACCARAT recherché pour leurs originalités avec leurs mouvements ; repoussant la gravité grâce à leurs socles. Jacques ADNET est un pionnier, il fut le premier à combiner le métal et le verre pour servir un mobilier pratique tout en restant élégant et haut de gamme. Ses collaborations avec différentes et célèbres maisons telles que BACCARAT en témoignent. Il se définit lui-même comme « novateur et classique, champion d’une tradition tendue vers l’avant. » En bon état avec quelques traces d’usages, légère déformation sur l’une des deux bases (voir photo) et électricité refaite. Stamp "Desny Paris Made in France déposé" under the base. Circa 1930. Very good condition. Maison Desny was a famous modernist luxury design workshop created by Clément Nauny which operated in the late 1920's/early 1930's. Lamps were among their best selling pieces. Superbe paire d'appliques de la Maison Baguès (Paris). Ce modèle aux perroquets est iconique et a fait la renommée et le succès de la Maison Baguès. Elles sont anciennes, circa 1930-1940 et en bon état. Deux lumières par applique. Les motifs décoratifs (perroquets, feuilles) sont en verre moulé fixé sur une monture en métal doré. Bougeoirs en verre également et fausses bougies cachant les douilles des lampes. Câblée pour une utilisation européenne. Stunning pair of sconces by Maison Baguès (Paris). This model with the parrots is iconic and made Maison Baguès famous and successful. They are ancient : circa 1930's-1940's and in good condition. Two lights per sconce. Decorative motifs (parrots, leaves) are made of molded glass attached to a golden metal mount. Candle holders made of glass as well and fake candles hiding the lamp sockets. Wired for European use. -

Exceptionnelle sculpture/lampe Art Déco de Max Le Verrier (1891-1973) représentant un singe sous un parapluie. Il s'intitule La Pluie "The Rain" ou Le Singe au Parapluie "Monkey with an Umbrella". Modèle créé vers 1925-1927 et récompensé au Salon des Humoristes de Paris en 1927. Lampe de table avec deux ampoules. Coulée de bronze à patine vert antique. L'abat-jour est original et en verre dépoli. Base hexagonale en marbre noir veiné. Signée sur la base "Le Verrier". Edition ancienne très rare. Quelques usures de la patine (voir photos) conformes à l'âge. Câblée pour une utilisation européenne. Exceptional Art Deco sculpture/lamp by Max Le Verrier (1891-1973) representing a monkey under an umbrella. It is titled "The Rain" or "Monkey with an Umbrella". Model created around 1925-1927 and rewarded at the Salon des Humoristes (Humorists Exhibition) in Paris in 1927. Table lamp with two bulbs. Casting bronze with antic green patina. The lamp shade is original and made of frosted glass. Hexagonal base in veined black marble. Signed on the base "Le Verrier". Ancient edition which is very rare.
